TAT Creative Works is a freelance studio based in Lake Geneva, led by me—Tia, a creativepreneur with over 30 years of experience in layout design, advertising, and media. As a creativepreneur, I blend artistic vision with business sense—using my creative skills not just to craft content and design, but to build a meaning-filled practice that supports nonprofits, authors, and hospitality businesses .

I love partnering with clients who have a story or mission behind what they do. From branding and visual identity to compelling content, each project is an opportunity to tell something authentic and impactful. Working this way gives me freedom and purpose, and helps the people I work with truly connect with their audiences .

What is a “creativepreneur?”

To me, being a creativepreneur means using my design and content skills to help others bring their visions to life. It’s about combining creativity with intention—building a business that’s flexible, fulfilling, and rooted in purpose-driven work.

What kind of artwork do you do?

My work often draws inspiration from nature, nostalgia, and the quiet beauty in everyday moments. I lean toward mixed media, digital illustration, and hand-drawn elements—sometimes abstract, sometimes whimsical, often with a vintage or coastal undertone. Each piece is made to evoke feeling or spark a memory.

Do you work with all types of clients?

Absolutely. I welcome and celebrate working with people from all walks of life—LGBTQ+, BIPOC, neurodivergent, disabled, and anyone else who wants to create something meaningful. Kindness, respect, and openness are at the heart of everything I do. If you’re passionate about your project, I’m honored to help bring it to life.

With a background in layout design, advertising, and media, TAT Creative Works was built on over 30 years of experience working with magazines, print materials, and online marketing. The studio combines creative skill with a deep understanding of visual communication across platforms.

What work does TAT Creative Works not do?

I focus on creative design and content—so I don’t take on work like large-scale website development, coding-heavy tech projects, or highly corporate branding that lacks creative flexibility. I also tend to avoid projects that involve political agendas, hate speech, or anything that doesn’t align with kindness, inclusivity, and ethical values.
